ABOUT STOURJAM

What is StourJam?

It’s a
not-for-profit, charity music festival set along the scenic banks of the River Severn. Designed to bring the community together, this event is all about giving back while enjoying a weekend of great music and local talent.

Taking place during the first weekend of June 2026, StourJam will feature over 300 performances across 13 venues in Stourport, offering a unique and unforgettable experience for music lovers and the local community alike.

Why was StourJam created?

StourJam
was created after experiencing multiple free festivals in the local area that champion music for one weekend every year, which is something that Stourport does every weekend. StourJam is dedicated to doing something similar, and will be a festival that will feature over 20 hours of live music across each of its 13 venues for free. It was inspired after seeing the community’s continuous support for live music, every weekend. This is a festival that gives back to people.

What sort of music can we expect from StourJam?

Expect the unexpected! Genre-wise, there will be everything from rock music to jazz. As for what you’ll hear, there will be cover acts, original musicians ,and tribute acts to enjoy across town.

Why Stourport?

It’s one of the busiest towns in the West Midlands for live music. Set on the river banks of the River Severn, it’s a picturesque town where thousands of people come every year to enjoy what the town has to offer.
